Ms. McGhee is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and a VA Accredited attorney with Black & McGhee, A Professional Law Corporation. She is the President of SoCal NAELA and a member of the State Bars of California and Nevada, Vice-Chair of the North County Bar Association California Conference of Delegates and Board member of the Southern Caregiver Resource Center. She also serves as a Court Appointed Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem in the Superior Court of San Diego County, California.

Yvonne Amrine ESQ

Yvonne Amrine is an estate planning and elder law attorney with offices in Encinitas and Downtown San Diego. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. She is licensed to practice in California, and attended law in San Diego at California Western School of Law where she obtained a concentration in Elder Law. In June of 2018, Ms. Amrine launched a non-profit called San Diego Planning Partnership: a non-profit organization dedicated to helping older adults navigate aging and independence through education on legal and practical topics designed to prepare them for living well into the 90s and 100s.

Past Chapter President

Amy Haupert is in private practice with the Law Office of Fay Blix, in Laguna Hills, California. She is the past 2010 President of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Orange County Bar Association and served on the Executive Board for 6 years. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and served as the 2018-2019 President of the Southern California Chapter.
